MAKE BRITAIN THE (FIRST) ‘CHAMPION’!
We can only obtain a war crimes investigation, let alone an ultimate UN sponsored referendum on self-determination, if we, firstly, get at least one world power as a ‘Champion’ of our cause. Altruistic lobbying has failed i.e. ‘please do the right thing’ because no world power is presently willing to demand that investigation. Therefore, this must be achieved by pressure from below i.e. via the public/media.
The Mayoral campaign gives us an opportunity to exert pressure on the British Government to champion our cause. A candidate will raise the profile, encourage public protest and give us a fighting chance of reaching the magic 100,000 signatures for the iii petition. It is a ‘no brainer’! Let us not miss this golden opportunity.
Did you know………..
Jan Jananayagam, a leading figure in the Tamils against Genocide group, won the highest percentage (2.9%) for an independent in a London-wide election at the Euro elections in 2009!
Graham Williamson, director of Act Now, is also Chairman of a highly successful campaigning body the Adamsgate Action Group, in East London. He is supported by councillors in South Havering who command up to half the local vote!
David Cameron’s says that the Falkland Islanders must have self-determination. Don’t Tamils deserve it too?
The Evening Standard has already set up a Race to be Mayor section. They report that one Union alone has agreed to give Ken Livingstone’s campaign £25,000. Are we unable to match that figure simply in order to stand?
