Ebrahim Mehtari
Iranian activist who was arrested, jailed, tortured and sexually abused by the Iranian regime for participating in demonstrations against the 2009 fraudulent elections.

Wanding Ren
Former political prisoner, human rights activist and founder of the China Human Rights League. Ren Wanding fought for democracy in China and the release of political prisoners. He spent seven years in prison for his activism and was a leading figure in the Tiananmen Square demonstration.

Zoya Phan
28-year-old ethnic Karen refugee from Burma. Author of the autobiography "Little Daughter", International Coordinator of Burma Campaign UK, which promotes human rights, democracy and development for Burma.
