Dear All,

This is a reminder that the UK e-Petition calling for an independent,

international investigation into allegations of war crimes in Sri Lanka

is still available to sign on the UK Government e-petition website.

If the e-petition receives 100,000 signatures, this issue will be

eligible for debate in the British House of Commons. Every signature

counts towards the campaign to highlight the need for an independent,

international commission of inquiry. This is of vital importance at this

stage, given that the UN Human Rights Council is likely to vote on

whether such a mechanism will be created at its next Session early next

year.

When signing the e-petition, please note the following:

- You must be a UK citizen or live in the UK to sign this petition

- The Petition is 100% Confidential – Your details will NOT be

published on the website.

- In order to sign the petition, you must click a link sent to you via

Email after you complete the petition on the E-petition website. Your

signature will not be added to the petition until you click the link

sent to your email address.

- There is no age specification on the website for taking part in the

petition, so please encourage all your family and friends to sign.

If you are not a UK resident or do not live in the UK, please show your
