Tamil actor Jeeva boycotts Sri Lankan govt. event in Europe?

The prominent Tamil actor Jeeva cancelled his Europe trip where he planned to participate in an event organised by Sri Lankan government Karuna faction, a Indian media reported.
Yesterday, Chennai based Tamil forums strongly condemned actress Sangeetha, actor Jeeva and Singer Girish for participating Karuna faction sponsored new year celebrations in New Zealand.
A Tamil activist told that I want to make a small request to all Tamil artists that they should avoid going to pro-Sri Lankan events even if they will held in overseas. Nobody should go there until the Tamilians problems are solved there. Even Amitabh Bachchan did not go to Sri Lanka since we requested him.
Meanwhile, earlier prominent Tamil actor and Tamil activist Sathyaraj said that like in Sri Lanka, there are also ethnic problems in Iraq. The famous Hollywood actress Jennifer Lopez was supposed to participate in a dance porgramme there. But Cyrus people were against it. Jennifer Lopez was to be paid Rs 14 Crores to participate in this function. But since Cyrus people protested against this programme, Jennifer Lopez sacrificed the 14 Crores and cancelled the programme. That kind of sentiment should also be there among our actresses and actors.”
