GTF was formed after the 2009 massacres not to deal with War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity nor the alleged GENOCIDE. There were other credible Tamil Organizations founded and operating in the USA 2 years before GTF, with professional attorneys dealing with that matter. TAMILS FOR JUSTICE, BRUCE FEIN PROJECT, TAMILS AGAINST GENOCIDE, BTF, AND JUSTICE FOR THAMILS (FOR A SHORT TIME IN TORONTO FORUNDED BY BRUCE FEIN and two other ambitious Tamils). USTPAC and TAPI as well as Sangams and LTTE legal adviser Rudrakumar was coordinating with all these organizations closely, some of which were funded by the corrupt TRO and 50 agents in the USA.

There was no need for new comers Ethirweerasingam (Into the Tamil liberation struggle),  One Surendran from London, and elderly retired priest from a small village in Germany to “hijack” other Tamils efforts forming the GTF to deal with the same matters, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars 2 years or more, ago. At the same time Rudrakumar, KP, Paul Williams and Rev. Chandrakanthan/his brother Vasanthakumar founded TGTE and later the so called Tamil Parliament, literally in Cyber Space, with 134 elected and selected Tamil MP’s, who Tamils describe as all Rudrakumar’s catchers.

Meanwhile, the owner of TAG, Tamil Net, and TRO USA, Sreetharan and son, linked up with this hitherto unknown Nediyavan, forming the Nediyavan group fighting for the assets of KP/LTTE.

When thousands of innocent Tamils are being tortured, raped and beaten in Sinhala prisons for years, the master mind with Prabhakaran is being kept by the Rajapakses in luxury, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka does not enjoy!

KP himself confirmed privately from Malaysia, that he was unaware of the manipulations that was going on in  the USA by Rudrakumar and Sreetharan, and was going to investigate and reassess the situation and progress fully, before he was arrested. (Or now information is available that he negotiated the deal with Major General Udaya Perera the deputy high commissioner in KL). (More on that later, but after 30 months of his surrender and illegal rendition to Sri Lanka, it has become more obvious that KP was no fool to just do a “Ballet dance” into Sri Lanka, and live in luxury, without any financial contribution to the Rajapakses, or any valuable information that has helped the Interpol, CIA, MI5, CID, GOSL or theIndian or US government. The Indians surprisingly do not even want to interview him leave alone extradite him for confirmed crimes that he was supposed to have committed. (Another set of LIES by the INDIANS).

Both the Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International have also said in different statements that “accountability” and “human rights” issues need to be addressed by the government. Yesterday, even the London based Global Tamil Forum had a word of praise for the LLRC report though it expressed reservation on some aspects, especially on its findings on the issue of accountability during the final phase of the military campaign against the LTTE. Here are highlights;

“Global Tamil Forum (GTF) welcomes the long delayed publication of the ‘Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission’ (LLRC) report. Its findings only serve to emphasize the importance of establishing an international, independent accountability mechanism to investigate whether Government forces and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) breached any international law, committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in the last months of the war.

“Whilst the LLRC has received extensive criticism, it must be stated that some of its judgments and recommendations deserve acknowledgement. In particular, GTF welcomes the statement from the Commission “that the root cause of the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka lies in the failure of successive Governments to address the genuine grievances of the Tamil people.” However, the LLRC’s conclusions on the prosecution of the conflict contradict many of the findings of the United Nations Panel of Experts (PoE) report on Sri Lanka………..

“GTF maintains that all the allegations of abuses committed by both sides during the conflict must be investigated and that, if proven, those responsible must be held to account for their actions. However, given the degree of discrepancy between some of the key findings of the LLRC and the PoE report, an independent, international commission of inquiry is necessary to investigate and clarify these issues. The fact that the Government of Sri Lanka maintained its “zero civilian casualties” stance for two years after the war clearly indicates that a free and fair hearing on these issues is not possible within Sri Lanka’s domestic institutions.
