Group of Indian officials schedule to visit SriLankan in order to carry out discussions on problems and attacks faced by the Indian fishermen in the deep sea.

Special committee represent by the both country officials will hold their special discussions in month of December.

During the discussion bot country representatives will carry out discussions on fishing problems in the mid sea.

Earlier this discussion was schedule to held in month of November but it was postponed while urging to include Tamil Nadu representatives to the committee.

When speaking to the media this regard Indian secretary Mathai said earlier fishermen did not directly present at this discussion only the representatives of the NGO and some other people represent fishermen were present at this discussion. Representatives present on behalf of the fishermen fail to announce the problems faced by them.

During my visit to Jaffna"I hold discussions with Government Agent (GA) of the district’. During the discussions GA explained the problems faced by the Lankan fishermen when the Indian fishermen enter to their waters. GA also showed the report of clear evidence this regard said Ranjan Mathai.

However during the discussion between the President Rajapaksa and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Indian officials express disappointment over the attacks carried out by the Lankan Navy against Tamil Nadu fishermen.
