8 men and 5 women arrested in connection with prostitution

Police arrested 8 men and 5 women form a hotel for engaging in the prostitution last evening.
Police inspector of the Jaffna district Saman Chikayro said after receiving an tip off on prostitution they have carried out special raid in this private hotel. During the time of raid police have arrested the owner of the hotel and 13 others.
All these suspects will be produced before the courts today.
This was the first incident where the police officers raided prostitution center in Jaffna district.
