Leaked News: Nine surrendered Tamil Tiger commanders are with torn eye lids at Minneria Sri Lankan military base
Nine Tamil Tiger commanders who were captured during the last battle by Sri Lankan military have been found under continuous torture in Minneria military base. The Senior Sri Lankan military officer leaked the news saying they are slowly dying in the torture chamber and the names have been given to an international human rights organisation.
The torture of Sri Lankan military included the damage to eye lids and removing nails with broken bones. They organs have been found injected with slow death poisons and they have been already lost their conscious. The leading commanders have been tortured since 2009 May to find out the secrets of Tamil Tigers and their missing leaders who believed to have escaped on the last day.
The evidence will give another pressure to United Nations to act on Sri Lankan war crimes, a senior Human Right activist said. It is believed that Senior Sri Lankan military officers are offered with huge amount of money in the past in exchange of providing the evidence of war crimes which is still ongoing in secret military torture chambers. One of the military officer said, military officers are keen on ‘making’ war crime videos on the captured Tamil Soldier because they can make good money by selling them to Tamil Organisations.
