As Sri Lanka hangs under mounting evidence of war crimes and defies international calls for an independent investigation into war crimes, the leaders of Sri Lanka are soon due to attend CHOGM in Perth to campaign for the CHOGM 2013 to be held in their country. Sri Lanka is also competing with Australia to host the 2018 Commonwealth games. And while thousands continue to flee the island on boats towards Australia seeking asylum, many ask:

 What is the real situation in Sri Lanka?

 What is the role of the international community, the Commonwealth of Nations and Australia in ensuring accountability in Sri Lanka?

Senior delegates from the International Community, Government Ministers, representatives from international human rights groups, journalists and academics, as well as representatives from the Tamil, Sinhala and Muslim communities in Sri Lanka, will be attending, participating and addressing the conference.

Final list if eminent guests, speakers will be updated on event website and emailed to all registered attendees
