My Dear fellow Tamils around the globe, One thing that we need to understand is that our problem is minuscule to the West, India, China and Russia. But it has been a very worrying huge problem for us. Geo-Political interest and Trade overwhelmingly decides the Foreign policy for all the countries. So we cannot expect any sympathy from them. If one looks at the History, intervention by UN or IC will be decided by big powers. Why did China and Russia kept silent when West went for ‘no fly zone’ in Libya at the UN? now, after more than three months of bombing still no rumbling heard from China or Russia Why?

We have lost more than 200,000 of our kith & kin since 1956 to date, what sympathy have we got? There were few ‘Big cries’ in 1958 and 1983 soon it all went into wilderness. Let us look at our own history, we have been deceived by Sinhalese their Duplicity spans over 100 years now. Sir Pon Arunachalam was snubbed by then Sinhala politicians like Sir James Peries and his ilks in 1917, He Pon A left the Ceylon Congress leadership and wanted the Tamils to join him with the Tamil Maha saba which he formed in 1919, but the Tamil Youths association snubbed him. Under Donoughmore constitution Tamils could not agree on a unified agenda and boycotted the election. Which left a Pan Sinhala cabinet to come about. Where D.S.Senanayake being the minister for agriculture and land reforms planned the colonisation scheme in the East as early as 1934. Then this sad story went on throughout our history up until to date. Some Tamil Politicians played a selfish game to grab the limelight within our community, have a crown for them. Sinhalese sensing this they played their calculated deceit game, while some others of our Tamil leaders were conniving with the Sinhalese Politicians to pick up crumps. As the result the Sinhalese had their way and held on to the plum that fell on their lap. We were the losers, Do we want to continue to be the losers following Douglas, Karuna and KP? Each and every Tamils do think differently even today, having an agenda behind them, mostly to benefit them personally.  If we speak with a forked tongue, So would the Western politicians will talk to us with tongue in the cheek. ‘Political duplicity’. It is for us, now to shed our differences and stand united in our demand to obtain our goals, first -Self determination, then we can move forward.

Hi Tamils wake up don’t allow your Identity to be erased in the North East of the Island of Illankai. You should stand up and fight for your birth and political rights before it gets too late. We have committed many mistakes in our political manoeuvres , let it be a lesson, have we learned something from them? If so; Then let us change our path using our intelligence. Prevent growth and guard the enemies within. Sorry for this sermon.

Thank you

Dr.Raj
