Parliamentarians to speak on the state of Human Rights in Sri Lanka MPs and Human Rights activists will speak on the current state of Human Rights in Sri Lanka.
WHAT: The Canadian Human Rights Voice is hosting a conference for MPs and activists to speak on the following themes concerning Human Rights in Sri Lanka:
• human rights today;
• journalists and the media;
• Non Governmental Organizations; and
• The role of Canada and the International community.

On February 3, 2011, the Canadian Human Rights Voice (CHRV) will host a conference on Human Rights in Sri Lanka in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
The Ottawa conference will bring together non-governmental organization and government representatives to discuss human rights in Sri Lanka. The main themes at the conference will include:
