Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa & UNP leader Ranil Wickramasinghe are to arrive in London later this week to attend commonwealth parliamentary meeting that begins on 18th July. The opposition leader and the senior Rajapaksa sibling meet in London at a time UNP leader is publicly trying to save the government from war crimes charges.
Analysts are of the opinion that Mr. Wickramasinghe most probably will engage secret talks with the Speaker in London. TNA paliamentarian Sumanthiran will represent his party at the London meeting.
