Message from Australian Tamil Congress:

Dear valued members,

We invite you to attend a public meeting with Mr. M A Sumanthiran MP, Tamil National Alliance (TNA) hosted by the Australian Tamil Congress.

Mr Sumanthiran is considered as one of the strongest human rights advocates in Sri Lanka. He entered parliament in 2010 as member TNA. His maiden speech in the parliament opposing the amendments to the constitution that removed the two term restrictions for the incumbent President was widely acclaimed both at home and abroad.

This is an ideal opportunity to get firsthand information on the current political climate in Sri Lanka and his views on how Australian Tamils can contribute in bringing about a long lasting solutions to our kith and kin languishing in our Tamil homeland.
