"SELF DETERMINATION IS KEY TO THE WORLD PEACE"
We are holding an event in cooperation with Amnesty International on the evening of Thursday 27th January (6.30 for a 7pm start). We will be discussing issues raised by the ricin trial such as the use of secret evidence in SIAC, Control Orders and the threat of abolition of juries in terrorism trials.
Confirmed speakers are Michael Mansfield QC, solicitor Julian Hayes, Diane Abbot MP and myself (jury foreman in the trial). The event will be chaired by the Daily Telegraph’s political editor Peter Oborne.
Tickets for the event are free, but need to be booked in advance. You can find more information about the event and book tickets via this link:

Please distribute the information as widely as possible and please post links on any websites, mailing lists or blogs you have access to.
With many thanks and best wishes
