1. Taking of land belonging to Tamils.

      2. Annexing of Sinhala areas to Tamil majority areas.

      3. Altering the names of Tamil villages.

      4. Removal of name boards of Tamil villages .

      5. Several acts which are detrimental to Tamil culture.

      6. Sinhala colonization.

      7. Increasing the presence of armed forces and effort to settle their families in the northland east.

      8. Effort to drive away the Tamils form their traditional village.

      9. Indirect effort to change the demography.

      10. The problems the resettled displaced people face.

      11. The problem the resettled persons face in the welfare centers.

      12. Appointment of sinhala senior officers in the government institution in the north and east

      13. The attack on the workers of nivitigala estate.

      14. The driving away of the Muslims settlers at kandalmadu and burning of their huts.

      15. The delay in the settlment of the people of sampur and expropriation of 1`0000 acres of land that belong to them.

      16. Not even a single Tamil speaking person was included in the list of 275 officers selected for the Sir Lanka administrative service.

      17. Of the hundred officers selected as surveyors only five were Tamils

      Comment:

      Can anyone say that all these event are not taking place?

      Is it possible in anyway to build place in the country while withholding these differences.

      Is not that government is inviting resistance by the Tamils

      Is not that government is making way for another crushing blow to the Tamils.

      Is not that government is encouraging LTTE or similar movement

      Judging by the acts can any way think that government has "learnt lessons"

      Has not government launched further repressive measure on the fabrication of "tiger

      terror"
