A group of Tamils led by one of our supporters Johannes are organising a walk from Birmingham to London on behalf of a British Charity "Help for Heroes" and a Tamil one (for orphaned children) "Serendip". The Tamil orphanage charity Serendip that Act Now have previously raised money for by running Music nights is holding its’ second Annual Dinner at Chingford Assembly Hall, Station Road, London E4 7EN on Friday evening of the 19th November. Apart from a prestigious location, a superior layout and entertainment this year will involve a ‘X-Factor’ style contest amongst five budding artists! Deepam TV will be covering the event. Starts at 7.00 pm promptly.
Tickets will be £20 each (A family ticket for four+ will be available at a discounted price of £15 each). If interested please send off a cheque made out to Serendip at 34 Brightling Road, Brockley, London SE4 1SQ.
Act Now have been invited to fill a number of tables which will allow us to catch up on things and help a good cause too!
