To Whom It May Concern,
I am completely SHOCKED by your complicity and support for a function this March 23rd at which the key speaker is Kamal Nath, one of the main accused in the November 1984 Sikh Genocide.
I am completely disgusted and disappointed that you have firstly participated in giving a murderer, Kamal Nath a platform to speak in this country and secondly, welcomed him into the homes of many Sikhs with open arms, sponsorships and endorsements.
What makes this move unbearable to myself and the community is that there is overwhelming evidence regarding the involvement of Kamal Nath in the killings of Sikhs in November 1984, including the testimony of a reputable journalist, Mukhtiar Singh and other employees of an attacked Gurudwara, who testified seeing Kamal Nath leading an armed mob that attacked a Gurudwara in Rakab Ganj, Delhi and burnt several Sikhs alive.
In addition, Kamal Nath’s entry into Canada is also a clear violation of section 35 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of 2001.
I insist that you to urgently reconsider and withdraw your support from this event or both the Sikh community and I will be forced to reconsider our support for the sponsors and actors complicit in supporting a mass murderer like Kamal Nath
I will urgently await your response explaining why this has happened and what action you are willing to take.
